April Fool’s 2024

Every year on  April 1st, we celebrate April Fool’s Day. It is a day filled with laughter, jokes, and harmless pranks. People around the world play tricks on each other. They bring joy to their loved ones’ lives by pranking them. 

In 1582, France introduced a new calendar. Earlier, the first day of April was celebrated as the beginning of a new year. The new calendar changed it to 1st January. However, many people were unaware of the change and continued celebrating April 1st as the New Year. Those who didn’t know about it were called “April fools.” This started the tradition of April Fool’s Day. 

April Fool’s Day is now celebrated all over the world. Friends and family members join in the fun by playing light-hearted pranks on each other.

April Fool’s Day is light-natured. It is a day which gives us a chance to share joy and create fond memories with loved ones. While celebrating this fun day, we should keep in mind that our pranks and jokes should be harmless- they should only bring joy to someone’s life and not make them sad.
