Arjun Wins Silver Medal at 5th Asian Youth Athletics Championships

The Asian Youth Athletics Championships is a sports championship in which many countries participate. The event is sometimes called Asian U18 Athletics Championships because only athletes between the ages of 14 and 17 can participate in it. U18 stands for under 18. 

This year the 5th Youth Asian Athletics Championships was held in Uzbekistan. The championship was held from April 27 to 30. Many countries from across the world participated in the championship. 

Arjun, who is a 16 year old athlete, won a silver medal in the 5th Asian Youth Athletics Championship in the boy’s Javelin Throw. Even last year, in the Youth Asian Athletics Championships 2022, which was held in Kuwait, Arjun won a silver medal in Javelin Throw. These two achievements have made Arjun the first athlete under 18 to win two silver medals back to back in the Asian Youth Championships. Arjun also ranked first in Asia and fourth place in the world.
