Asian Athletics Championships 2023 Comes to an End

The Asian Athletics Championships is a tournament where events like Men’s and Women’s long jump, pole vault, high jump, javelin throw, hammer throw, relays, hurdles and more are played. 

The 2023 Asian Athletics Championships began on July 12 and ended on July 16, 2023. They were held at the Supachalasai National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. This was the 25th edition of the championships. 

A total of 42 countries, including India, participated in the championships. Japan stood first in the championships, winning 37 medals out of which 16 were gold. China took the second spot with 22 medals including 8 gold. The third place was secured by India with 27 medals including 6 gold. India won 13 medals on the final day of the championships.
