Australia Open Ends 2024

The Australian Open is an annual tennis tournament held in Melbourne, Australia. The 2024 Australian Open started on January 8th, and the final match took place yesterday January 28th. 

In tennis, there are two types of matches- singles and doubles. In singles, two players play against one another, out of which one of them wins. In a doubles match, two sets of two players play against one another and only one set can win. 

In the 2024 Australia Open, Aryna Sabalenka won the final match of the Women’s single. The Men’s single was won by Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner. 

The duo of Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden secured the Men’s Double title. The duo of  Hsieh Su-Wei and Elise Mertens won the Women’s Double title. Hsieh Su-Wei partnered with Polish tennis player Jan Zieliński to win the Mixed doubles title. This is the list of the winners of the 2024 Australia Open.
