Boxing Day 2023

Boxing Day is a holiday that is generally celebrated on December 26th. It is celebrated in countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. This day is referred to as the second day of Christmas. It does not have a fixed date. It takes place between Christmas and New Year. 

Boxing Day was first celebrated in the United Kingdom, where rich people gifted workers with gift boxes. The gift boxes would contain food, money or things to thank the workers for their service all year. Also, Churches used to collect money in boxes on Christmas to donate it to the people in need. That is how Boxing Day got its name. Nowadays, People participate in acts of kindness to help the ones in need during the festive seasons. 

Boxing Day helps people understand the joy of taking care of others. In some countries, it is also a public holiday. People mainly use the day to spend time with family and friends or engage in fun activities.
