Children’s Day 2023 

Every year on 14th November, we celebrate Children’s Day in India. On this day, we honour Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who loved kids. He was a great political leader who became the first Prime Minister of India. 

Pandit Nehru was called “Chacha Nehru” by kids. He believed that children are the future of our country and took many steps to make sure that they received proper education. 

The theme of the 2023 Children’s Day is ‘For every child, every right’. Many schools organise cultural events to celebrate this day. Children’s Day reminds us to protect the innocence of kids and to celebrate their talents. It highlights the importance of providing a safe and healthy childhood, including education, nutrition, and a secure environment.
