Stan Lee was an amazing storyteller and comic book artist. He was born 101 years ago on 28th December 1922. He worked in a company called Marvel Comics. He created famous comic book characters such as Iron Man, Hulk, and Spiderman. 

Stan Lee was born in a small family in New York. He was originally named Stanley Martin Leiber. Since childhood, he showed a great interest in writing and was amazed by the exciting world of fiction. 

In 1939, Stan Lee was hired by the Timely Comics. The Timely Comic was later renamed Marvel Comics. Stan Lee soon became an important part of Marvel Comics due to his skills and creativity. 

In the 1989 movie named ‘The Trial of the Incredible Hulk,’ Stan Lee was present for a short role. After that, he became a regular appearance in every Marvel movie. Did you know that Stan Lee also worked for Marvel’s competing Detective Comics (DC)? Isn’t that interesting? 

On 12th November 2018, Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95. His 100th birth anniversary was celebrated in 2022. Many fans and artists came together to honour his life. Stan Lee’s legacy continues to grow as his works live in the heart of millions of fans.
