India defeats England by 100 Points

The Indian cricket team defeated the England Cricket team by 100 points in the 2023 World Cup match. The match occurred on the 29th of October at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. It was India’s sixth win in a row. 

Batting first, the Indian team captained by Rohit Sharma scored 229 for 9. And while defending, India bowled out England’s team with a score of 129 in 34.5 overs. Rohit Sharma scored 87 and became the man of the match.

Within the first ten overs of England’s batting, they lost the wickets of Dawid Malan, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root and Ben Stokes. With an outstanding performance by Indian bowlers, the match ended before the 35th over.  

England is currently in the lowest position in the World Cup while India is at the top. In their next match, the Indian Cricket team will be playing against the Sri Lankan cricket team on Thursday, 2nd November. The match will take place in the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
