India Wins the Badminton Asia Teams Champions Title 

On 18th February 2024, India won a big sports competition! It is a Badminton competition played between different countries of Asia. It is named the Badminton Asia Team Championship. It took place in Malaysia. 

In the final match, India played against Thailand. Five matches took place and India won three of them. India won the first and the second round. however, the opposite team won the next two rounds. In the last round, a 16-year-old Indian girl named Anmol Kharb won. This made India the winner. 

PM Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian women’s badminton team on social media platform X. This is a huge achievement for India as it is the first time that India won this championship.
