Indian Athletes at the 2023 Para-Asian Games 

Indian athletes are creating world records with outstanding performances in the fourth Para-Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. India is currently in the 6th position with 71 medals including 17 gold, 21 silver and 33 bronze medals. 

Athlete Sumit Antil created a new world record in the men’s javelin throw event by throwing the javelin to a distance of 73.29m. Another World Record was broken by Sundar Singh in the javelin throw event. Ankur Dhama became the first Indian to win two gold medals in a single edition of the Asian Para Games.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Badminton player Manisha Ramadas for winning the bronze in badminton women’s single today via a tweet. With the Fourth Para-Asian Games ending on 28th October, Indian athletes are giving their best to bring honour to our country.
