International Day for Human Space Flight

International Day for Human Space Flight

Humans have always been interested in space. This special relationship is celebrated on the International Day for Human Space Flight every year on April 12. This day marks the first ever human space flight launch.

In 1961, Yuri Gargarin, a great Soviet cosmonaut became the first person to orbit the Earth. Since this event, many people have started taking interest in space and cosmology. This is why this day has a special significance.

As of now, we have made great progress in the field of cosmology, but we owe it all to the first ever step taken in this direction.
