International Women’s Day

Every year on 8th March, we celebrate International Women’s Day around the world. On this day, we celebrate the amazing things women have done and how they help our world become a better place. This year, the theme is “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.”

In 1908, many women from different countries started asking for their rights. They wanted to be treated fairly and have the same chances as men. With time, many changes were made. Finally in 1975, March 8th was announced as International Women’s Day. 

On this special day, we learn that it’s very important to give both men and women the same chances to grow and do great things. We want a world where everyone is treated equally. So, International Women’s Day is a day to remind everyone to take action and make our world a fair and happy place for everyone.
