Message in a Bottle: Send your Name to Jupiter’s Moon 

The space agency of the USA, National Aeronautics and Space Organisation (NASA) is inviting people to send their names to Jupiter’s Moon named Europa. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. A spacecraft will be sent to Jupiter’s moon Europa in 2024. NASA has presented us with a great chance to send our names to outer space! The names will be written on a chip that will be sent to the space mission. 

This campaign is named “Message in a Bottle”. Lakhs of names have been added to the list since July. People can submit names through a form on the NASA website till 31st December. After that, the names will be added to a metal plate where the poem by Ada Limon named “In Praise of Mistery” will be written. 

Europa has a vast ocean of liquid. Scientist believes that it can support alien life. This exploration will help scientists understand the possibility of life beyond our planet, Earth.
