Narendra Modi Receives Papua New Guinea, Fiji’s Highest Civilian Honour

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently been awarded with the highest civilian honour of Papua New Guinea and Fiji. 

The highest honour was awarded to Narendra Modi in a ceremony hosted at the Government House. The award was given by the Governor General of Papua New Guinea, Sir Bob Dadae. The award is called the “Grand Companion of the Order of Logohu (GCL)”. The people who receive this award are called “Chief”. 

This honour was presented to Narendra Modi for his promoting friendly relations between India and the Pacific island countries. He was a part of an important summit hosted in Papua New Guinea to build a relationship between India and the 14 Pacific island countries.
