NASA’s solar probe becomes the fastest man-made object

The Space Agency of USA, NASA launched a spacecraft to study the outermost layer of the sun. It was launched in August 2018. In September 2023, it became the fastest object made by man with a speed of 635266 kilometres per hour. To understand its speed, imagine an airplane circling the Earth 15 times within one hour.

It was launched by NASA to study the Sun and its effect on the Earth. In 2021, it became the first spacecraft to move through the outermost layer of the sun. Also, this spacecraft is named after scientist Dr. Eugene Parker, who improved our understanding of the sun.

The spacecraft is believed to come closest to the Sun in 2025. Scientists think that it will break its record speed in the future.
