National Pet Day

If you have a cat or a dog, you know how special relationships with pets are. Humans have always been very attached to their pets, so much that we even have a day celebrating them! 

National Pet Day is celebrated every year on April 11. Not only does this day serve as an occasion to cherish our pets, but it also provides a platform to educate people about the importance of animal welfare and protection. 

Recently, a study conducted in Japan in March 2023, has found that children who grew up with pets had 13% to 16% reduced risk of developing food allergies later in life. Having dogs or cats as pets was seen to protect against nut, soybean, egg, wheat and milk allergies.

It turns out that your animal buddy has not only been entertaining you, but also silently protecting you all this time.
