Neeraj Chopra Wins the Doha Diamond League 2023

The Diamond League is an annual series of track and field sporting events for men and women. Track and field sports include hurdles, discus, pole vault and javelin throws The Diamond League was founded by the international governing body for athletic sports called World Athletics in 2010. This year, the 14th edition of the Diamond League was held in Doha, which is the capital of Qatar. 

On May 5, Neeraj Chopra won the Diamond League Finals 2023. His first attempt at javelin throw of 88.67 meters ensured him the win. None of the other athletes were able to beat this benchmark. Jakub Vadlejch stood second with his best attempt throw of 88.63 meters and with a best attempt of 85.88 meters, Anderson Peters stood third.
