New Chief Ministers For Three Indian States

The elections just finished in five Indian states – Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Mizoram, and Chhattisgarh. The results were out on December 3.

Three states of Telangana, Mizoram, and Chhattisgarh have new Chief Ministers now. 

On December 7, Revanth Reddy became Telangana’s CM, replacing K Chandrashekar Rao. 

Mizoram welcomed Lalduhoma as its new CM on December 8, and he founded the winning party, Zoram People’s Movement. 

Chhattisgarh made history by electing Vishnu Deo Sai, a tribal community member, as its CM, who will take office by January 3, 2024. 

Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh have not announced their new CMs yet.
