Oscars 2024

On 11th March 2024, the 96th Academy Awards ceremony was shown across the world. The Academy Awards, which is also known as the Oscars, took place in Los Angeles, USA. Many famous actors, actresses, and directors of Hollywood were present there. This year, the event was hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel. 

The 2024 Oscars was a huge success for the movie Oppenheimer. Directed by Christopher Nolan, this movie is based on the life of a scientist named J. Robert Oppenheimer. This movie won the Best Movie and Best Director category. Also, Cillian Murphy won the Best Actor category for his role as the main scientist. 

Actress Emma Stone won the Oscars in the Best Actress category for Poor Things. Earlier in 2016, she won in the same category for her movie La La Land. Singer Billie Eilish became the youngest woman to have won two Oscars. She is only 22 years old! 

The 2024 Oscars were a huge event for Hollywood. It was shown in many countries including India. First started in the year 1929, the Oscars is now one of the most respected awards in Hollywood.
