Para-Asian Games 2023 

The 4th Para-Asian Games will take place in Hangzhou, China from October 22 to October 28. It takes place every four years after every Asian Games for athletes with physical challenges. 

From India, 309 athletes will participate in the Para-Asian Games 2023. Indian players who are taking part in the event are discussed in this article. Parul Parmar won a gold medal in badminton at the Asian Para Games in 2014 and in 2023, she will play in the doubles category.

There’s also Avani Lekhara, a top shooter in women’s air rifle. She’s ranked first in the world. Pramod Bhagat was a former world number one in badminton. Shuttler Pramod Bhagat, athlete Ekta Bhyan, Archer Sheetal Devi and Javelin Throw champion Sumit Antil will also be participating.

Athletes from India will be participating in 17 sports categories in total. including Chess, Cycling, Judo, Powerlifting etc. Other athletes who will represent India are Narayan Thakur, Ravi Kumar, Shalini Saraswathi, Jayanti Behera etc.
