Pixar’s Toy Story turns 28

28 years ago, Pixar released the movie Toy Story on 22nd November. It was the first movie to be entirely made by computer. It became a huge success and was very much loved by the audience. 

Toy Story was the first movie made by Pixar. Back then, Pixar was a new company that was hired by Disney. Before Toy Story, animated films were made with a series of drawings that were shot in a manner to make it look like a video. 

The film is set in a world where toys come to life when humans are not around. It follows a group of toys owned by a boy named Andy, mainly focusing on Woody and Buzz Lightyear. It was nominated for three Oscars. Woody and Buzz Lightyear were voiced by popular Hollywood actors. 

Pixar launched many other Toy Story movies and series. Toy Story 5 is currently being made. It will probably be released between 2026 and 2028. The Toy Story series continues to create its magic with every age group alike.
