Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh Welcome New Chief Ministers 

The five Indian states of Chattisgarh, Telangana, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan recently held their Assembly Elections. After the results were announced on December 3rd, the new chief ministers of Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram were declared. After much suspense, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have also announced their newly elected chief ministers. 

On December 12th, Rajasthan welcomed first-time Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bhajan Lal Sharma as the new Chief Minister. He has been a dedicated member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for a long time. The Bharatiya Janata Party secured a strong victory in Rajasthan, winning 115 out of the 199 seats available.

Today, on December 13th, in Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav is all set to take the oath as the new Chief Minister at Bhopal’s Lal Parade Ground. The event will be graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

With these announcements, the 2023 Assembly Elections have come to an end, marking the beginning of a new chapter for these states with their newly elected Chief Ministers.
