Ratan Tata Receives the Highest Civil Honour in Australia

Ratan Tata is a well known industrialist and philanthropist. He has received several awards including the Padma Bhusan in 2000 and the Assam Baibhav in 2021. Recently, he has been awarded with the Order of Australia  (AO), which is the highest Australian civil award in that country for his contribution towards strengthening the connection between India and Australia. He was earlier appointed as an Honorary Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO). 

Barry O’ Farrell, who is Australia’s High Commissioner to India, applauded Ratan Tata on receiving the Order of Australia and commended his efforts to better the relations between the two countries on Twitter.
