Royal Challengers Bangalore Wins Women’s Premier League in 2024 

In 2023, a new thing was started in India – the Women’s Premier League (WPL). It is a cricket competition played by amazing women cricketers. This year, the team called Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the competition. This team’s captain was Smriti Mandhana. 

On March 17th, 2024, the final match of this year’s WPL took place. It was a super fun game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals (DC). Delhi Capitals scored 113 runs, but Royal Challengers Bangalore won by scoring 114 runs. 

The match happened in a big stadium in Delhi. It was packed with fans cheering for RCB! 

At the end of the game, the captain of the men’s RCB team, Virat Kohli, called the women’s team to congratulate them on their amazing win!
