Special Team to Rescue Animals at Bengal Safari Park

As the temperatures keep getting higher with every passing day, the residents of Siliguri are forced to battle the wrath of the sun. But humans are not the only victims of the heat. Animals everywhere are feeling the bitterness of summer too.

With this in mind, the management of Bengal Safari Park is taking every measure to ensure that the animals at the park are protected from the heat. A special team of doctors and park staff will be brought in to conduct a health checkup on the animals and provide preventive measures to protect them from the rising temperatures.

As of now, certain changes have been made to the usual routines of the animals, including nutritional changes, such as frequent ORS water consumption and addition of ice balls to the swimming pools where animals like tigers, black bears and leopards can take a dip to cool themselves. All of these measures are being taken to ensure the animals do not fall prey to the scorching heat of summer.
