Special Team to Rescue Animals at Bengal Safari Park

With the rise in temperatures, the residents of Siliguri are having to take better precautions to protect themselves against the summer heat. Just like humans, animals everywhere are facing the consequences of summer too.

The management of Bengal Safari Park is taking every step to ensure that the animals at the park are protected from the heat. A special team of doctors and park staff will be brought in to conduct a health checkup on the animals and provide preventive measures to protect them from the rising temperatures.

As of now, the animals at the Bengal Safari Park are being given ORS water to prevent dehydration. Ice balls have been added to the swimming pools for animals like tigers, black bears and leopards to cool themselves. All of these measures are being taken to ensure the animals do not fall sick due to the intense heat.
