Star Wars Day 2023

Star Wars Day 2023

Every year on May 4, we celebrate the Star Wars media franchise. Since its release on July 1, 1977, it has gained immense popularity among mainstream audiences over the decades. Today, Stars Wars has become a household name all across the globe, especially for science fiction enthusiasts. The concept of Star Wars was brought about by George Lucas, who wrote several screenplays for the Star Wars films. In total, there are 11 Star Wars films, with the first one being released in 1977 and the last one in 2019.

The story of Star Wars revolves around the theme of an intergalactic war between the Jedi and the Sith. The Jedi are the guardians of order and justice who want peace to prevail. The Sith, on the other hand, were formerly a part of the Jedi order, who switched over to the dark side and are focused on harnessing power through control and chaos.

Star Wars has won the hearts of so many people around the world that fans have decided to observe ‘May the 4th’ as National Star Wars Day, which is a reference to the famous phrase from the franchise “May the Force be with you”.
