Virtual G20 Leader’s Summit 2023 

Group of Twenty or G20 is an international group of countries that come together to talk about how they can help each other with money and growth. In December 2022, India was selected as the President of the G20. 

Yesterday, an online meeting took place between the leaders of the G20. The meeting was headed by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Other leaders of G20 members were also a part of it. Leaders discussed the important events that are happening in the world right now. Such as climate change, war between countries, health issues etc. 

This meeting was announced by PM Narendra Modi during the closing ceremony of the G20 summit in September. This was the last summit headed by India in 2023. India will give its G20 presidency to Brazil on December 1st.
