Why is Easter Celebrated

Easter is a Christian festival which is celebrated all around the world. It usually takes place between March 22 to April 25. It is always celebrated on a Sunday. According to the Bible, Jesus Christ came back to life on the 3rd day of his death on the cross. This event is marked by Easter. On this day people observe fasts, go to the Church, sing praises of the lord and light candles. Easter eggs are made to celebrate this day because eggs represent rebirth and a new life. Christians believe that if they follow the teachings of Jesus, their lives will be filled with hope and their sins will be forgiven.
