World Archery Championships 2023

The World Archery Championships are an international archery competition. It is organised every year by the World Archery Federation (WA). The championships were first established in 1931 and played in Poland for the first time. 

This year the 2023 World Archery Championships was held in Berlin, Germany. The competition started on July 31 and came to an end on August 6. 

The list of events in the 2023 World Archery Championships included men’s and women’s individual, men’s team and women’s team and mixed teams. A total of 531 archers from 81 nations participated in the championships. 

This was the first time that India won the gold medal in the World Archery Championships since 1931. India won a total of 4 medals (3 gold and 1 bronze) in the 2023 World Archery Championship. India won gold medals in the men’s and women’s individual events and the women’s team event. The bronze medal in the women’s individual event.
