World Earth Day 2023

Every year on April 22, we celebrate World Earth Day. On this day people participate in different activities, such as picking up trash and educating others about the environmental problems like global warming, pollution and deforestation. We celebrate this day to remind people to take care of the environment that we live in. 

World Earth Day was celebrated for the first time by Gaylord Nelson on April 22, 1970. He did this to teach people the importance of protecting the environment. This is why Gaylord Nelson is also called the Father of Earth Day.
