World Heritage Day

World Heritage Day, also known as the International Day for Monuments and Sites is celebrated every year on April 18. This day reminds people of the importance of protecting cultural sites across the world, such as monuments, historical landmarks, archeological sites and cultural heritages. 

World Heritage Day is celebrated differently by different people. While some visit heritage sites, famous buildings and monuments on this day, others organize meetings and conferences.
