World Science Day for Peace and Development 2023 

On 10th November, World Science Day for Peace and Development is celebrated. This day focuses on getting everyone interested in important scientific issues. Also, it points out the role of science in society. 

At the 1999 World Conference on Science in Budapest, Hungary, the idea to celebrate this day was taken. Since 2001, we’ve been celebrating it. Many successful projects, programs, and funding for science around the world, have started on this day. 

The theme for World Science Day for Peace and Development 2023 is “Building Trust in Science.” For science to help everyone in the future, everyone must trust it. When we trust science, we can discover clever solutions using proof to solve the many problems faced by the world.  

UNESCO encourages everyone to celebrate this day by taking part in events and activities. The day aims to share more about science and how it helps us understand our special planet. Also, we can see the important role played by scientists in making our lives better and easier.
