Getting a good night’s sleep is very important! It keeps us happy and healthy. So, to make people understand how important sleeping is, we celebrate World Sleep Day. It is celebrated every year in March. 

This year we are celebrating World Sleep Day on the 15th of March. The date changes every year. 

World Sleep Day was first celebrated in 2008. A group of scientists pointed out that sleeping is very important for our health. To make people understand the need for a good night’s sleep, we celebrate this day. In 2024, the theme of this day is ‘Sleep Equity for Global Health’. 

Do you know that many people have trouble sleeping? Yes, many people can not sleep properly, due to which they end up getting sick. However, to get a good sleep, we can follow some simple habits. By not using mobiles, or television before bedtime and being active during the daytime, we can make sure that we sleep healthily.
