World Sparrow Day 2024

A sparrow is a small brown bird. Earlier, you could see this bird everywhere. However, the number of sparrows has also become less due to trees being cut down. Sparrows are an important type of bird. It is a part of our nature and it plays a major role in it.   

So, to inform people about this bird, we celebrate World Sparrow Day on 20th March. This day shows us the need to protect sparrows. 

An Indian organisation named Nature Forever Society came up with the idea of celebrating this day. The first World Sparrow Day was celebrated in 2010. 

World Sparrow Day tries to inform people about the conditions of sparrows and other birds. It asks people to take action to save nature. This day can be celebrated by learning more about sparrows and other birds, We can also build birdhouses and educate people about the importance of sparrows in nature to celebrate this day.
