World Student Day 2023

  World Student’s Day 2023

Every year World Student’s Day is celebrated in India on October 15th to pay respect to the 11th President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. He was a famous scientist, writer and teacher who believed in the need for education for every Indian child.

Dr Kalam was born in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu on October 15th 1931. He was given the nickname of the “Missile Man of India” due to his scientific findings. He acted as the president of India from 2002 to 2007. He was called the “people’s president” because of his humble nature.

In 2023, the theme of World Student’s Day is “If you fail, never give up because FAIL stands for First Attempt in Learning.” He also wrote books such as “Wings of Fire,” “Ignited Mind,” and “Turning Points.”

To celebrate this day many schools arrange activities like quizzes, essays, and lectures that celebrate learning. It’s a day that shows us the value of education and inspires students to become future leaders.
