World Water Day 2024

Every year on 22nd March, we celebrate World Water Day. This day shows us how important water is. Everyone deserves to have clean water to drink and use for other things. However, many countries are facing many troubles related to water. This day tries to raise awareness about these troubles and find a way to deal with them. 

In 1992, the idea to celebrate World Water Day was taken. Since then, this day has become a platform for promoting new solutions to water problems. This year’s theme, “Water for Peace,” shows how solving these water problems can bring peace to people. 

People around the world celebrate World Water Day through many activities. Special events are organised where people are taught about water, how to save it and other important things.
