THE FAMILY TREE

Most people have a family. Some of these family members might not be with us anymore, but they are the reason why you are alive. A family tree is a simple map that helps us understand how we are related to our family. Usually, family trees have names and pictures of the members. On this tree, the oldest members of a family are placed on the top. The youngest are placed at the bottom. Here, we can see the immediate family tree of Latika.

First Generation

The first generation has the oldest members of the family. The grandfather and grandmother make up the first generation.

Second Generation

The second-oldest family members are the second generation. The parents (mother and father) make up the second generation.

Third Generation

The youngest family members are the third generation. In this family tree, Latika and her brothers are the third generation.
