THINGS WE SEE IN THE SKY

When you look at the clear blue sky, you can see many things. You can also see many things at night when the sky is black. Here, we will learn about the things you see in the sky.

1.  Sun

We see the Sun every day. It gives us light and heat. The Sun is the closest star.

2. Moon

We see the Moon at night. Sometimes, it can be seen during the day. It moves around the Earth.

3.  Stars

We can see stars only at night. They twinkle in the night sky. You can see thousands of stars at night.

4.  Clouds

Clouds carry water and float in the sky. They are grey and white in colour. Clouds cause rain. 

5.  Birds

Birds are animals that can fly! You can see many types of birds flying in the sky. Pigeons, crows, sparrows, and owls are types of birds.

6.  Aeroplane

Aeroplanes are vehicles that fly. They have wings. They carry people from one place to another.

7.  Rainbow

You can see a rainbow in the sky when there is sunlight and rain. Rainbows have seven colours.
